SIC Maui Youth Generation Dominates at Costa Blanca Euro Tour

The future of SIC Maui was on full display at the World SUP Festival Costa Blanca 5* as young talents Eliott Bry and Laura Paricio delivered standout performances in Santa Pola, Spain on May 17th.

Eliott claimed the victory in the Elite Junior division with a time of 1:26:05, while Laura secured an impressive silver medal finish in the women’s Junior Elite category, just 8 seconds behind the winner.

With €10,000 in prize money and elite paddlers from 28 countries in attendance, these young SIC Maui stars proved they belong among the world’s best.

Young Talents Lead the Way

The rise of SIC Maui’s next generation continues to impress on the international stage, with Eliott Bry’s dominant performance in the long-distance race further establishing him as one of the top junior paddlers in the world. Meanwhile, Laura Paricio’s razor-thin margin behind winner Bianca Toncelli. These results highlight the strong talent pipeline and bright future of the SIC Maui Youth Development program.

Strong Elite Performances Against World-Class Competition

In the Elite division, Ethan Bry continued his impressive 2025 campaign with a solid 4th place finish, crossing the line in 1:21:51. The result is particularly noteworthy given the exceptional depth of the field, with Ethan finishing ahead of former world champion Michael Booth and less than one minute behind winner Shuri Araki.

SIC Maui athlete Ludovic Teulade secured a respectable 14th place position against what many consider one of the most competitive fields assembled this year.

RST, the best choice

All SIC Maui athletes competed on the RST board, which continues to prove itself as the weapon of choice for elite racing across varied water conditions especially in Open Ocean. The board’s versatility and performance characteristics were on full display in the challenging Mediterranean conditions.

Next Stop: Barcelona

The SIC Maui team now sets its sights on the Barcelona SUP World Fest, a prestigious 6-star event offering €12,000 in prize money, scheduled for May 24-25.
