The European SUP League and European Surfing Federation will hold its final event of the 2025 season at Praia do Ouro, in Sesimbra (Portugal), on the new dates of November 29 and 30.
This adjustment comes in response to the recently announced dates of the ISA World SUP & Paddleboard Championship, which will take place from November 10 to 15 in El Salvador, overlapping with the previously planned ESL final.
The new date has been chosen to ensure that athletes can participate in both major events without conflict, upholding the spirit of collaboration and athlete-focused planning that defines the ESL.
Organised in collaboration with Surf Clube de Sesimbra, this final stop will take place in one of Portugal’s most iconic coastal settings, known for its maritime heritage, welcoming atmosphere and ideal conditions for Stand Up Paddle. A location that reinforces the European scope of the circuit and its commitment to growth across the continent.
This settles the great uncertainty that many athletes, with a strong chance of being selected for the ISA World Championship, had been facing since the beginning of the week. Congratulations and many thanks to the European SUP League for making this change, knowing how complex it is to organise an international event.
