SIC Maui athletes excelled at the final stage of the Eurotour Royan SUP Festival, securing three of the top five positions amidst challenging oceanic conditions.
All three SIC Maui athletes competed on the RST all-Water board.
Ethan Bry claimed victory with a time of 01:22:16.60, finishing over a minute ahead of paddler Donato Freens, who clocked in at 01:23:16.80.
Eliott Bry, Ethan’s younger brother, finished in third place overall and won the Elite Junior division with a time of 01:25:48.01.
Ludovic Teulade rounded out the SIC Maui presence by securing fifth place with a time of 01:30:08.52.
The long-distance and technical race featured epic waves and true oceanic conditions, presenting a significant challenge to all competitors.
The weekend was part of the multi-sport festival “Week-end de la Glisse” in Royan, which created an unforgettable atmosphere with concerts and celebrations.
With three athletes in the top five, SIC Maui continues to demonstrate its competitive edge on the European SUP racing circuit.
