The high temperature was the main protagonist in the second edition of the Berlin SUP Race, official competition of the EuroTour 2023
Very warm around Eiswerder in Berlin for this new stop on the EuroTour2023 circuit.
In the men’s category, the Top6 group stayed together for most of the race with native Norman Weber performing some great race strategy, taking first place.
Great performance by Asger Smidth, achieving the second position and achieving his best result in this 2023 EuroTour. The always constant Ole Schwarz climbs the podium with third place, also very close to the final sprint. After so many times touching the podium, Hermann Husslein got the fourth position. Closing the Top5 was the great Kaelan Lockhar, showing once again that you always have to count on him.

On the girls’, Anna Tschirky took her first EuroTour place, after basically being on every podium this season and proving that she is a great rider in all kinds of events.
Susanne Lier won the second position in a very solid race showing the great shape that she always maintains to be at the Top10 in the #eurotourrankings. In her first podium finish on this tour, Emma Freja Pedersen took third place after showing a lot of energy and strength during the competition. The young Katarzyna Zarembik surprised many in her first performance on this tour with her fourth position. Closing out the Top5 was local junior hero Tinka Thusche in her best international result.

The Kid’s race in the afternoon was a great success with @sup_neo2016 being the youngest competitor ever at 6yrs old. The tandem races were a great success too, with many of the kids going for the longer course and achieving great results.
We really want to thank Oliver & family for their hard work & dedication. Also many thanks to @surfhobbit & @starboard_germany for all their help this weekend. We now take a summer break until #eurotour2023 event#11 on September 2nd: Punta Ala SUP Race (8000€) ️ 2-3rd September
